Dr. Jane E. O'Rorke, assistant professor of medicine, was one of four former chief residents chosen by the American Board of Internal Medicine to attend the European Society of Internal Medicine conference held in September in Alicante, Spain. More than 50 physicians from across the United States applied for this opportunity. The conference covered a variety of internal medicine topics and included discussions on etiology, diagnosis and treatment. Comparing and contrasting medical education in different countries also was of considerable focus.
