Ingredients for success:

This new building will provide ultra-modern laboratory space for the Health Science Centerís growing research enterprise and will attract and retain top researchers who will conduct basic and translational research in the following areas: metabolic biology, molecular therapeutics, age-related neurodegenerative diseases, and a new program in regenerative medicine that will take advantage of partnerships with the military and The University of Texas at San Antonio. The Institute for Integration of Medicine and Science, the home to the Health Science Centerís translational and clinical research activities, also will be located in the building.
