Housing Information

The University has no dormitories or other housing accommodations. Apartments and rental homes in the suburban area that surrounds the Medical Center offer a variety of housing options. On the average, apartments near the Health Science Center, lease at approximately $450 for an efficiency; $550 for a 1 BD/1B; $680 for 2 BD/1B; $750 for 2BD/2B. The amount depends upon amenities offered. Lower rents may be found a short car-ride from the Health Science Center. Complexes which pay all utilities generally charge higher rents. Most require a 6-12 month lease and security deposit from $100 up. Furniture rental companies in the area charge moderately.
