More than 1,000 students will cross the stage between May
18 and May 25 as graduates of the UT Health Science Center San
Antonio.

About 750 students will be receiving degrees in May, and
approximately 265 more will be honored for the degrees they
earned from fall 2013 through February of this year as they
completed their programs. Thirty-seven students from the
Physician Assistant Studies program also will be honored at the
ceremony in advance of completing their program in June.

Find new challenges
“We are proud of our students and their many successes,” said
President William L. Henrich, M.D., MACP. “They are entering
health care at an opportune time, with many career paths
available. I encourage them to do what has driven me throughout
my career, and that is to do what challenges them the most. To
miss this opportunity would be contrary to the vocation to which
they have been called and the incredible effort they have put
forth as a student here.

“We are depending on them to discover scientific breakthroughs,
provide compassionate care for patients and educate the health
care providers of tomorrow. I know that they will be up to the
task,” he said.
