The School of Nursing Alumni Association at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio is hosting a Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, Nov. 23. The proceeds will benefit the School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship Fund.
Registration is now being accepted for this pre-Thanksgiving fundraiser that is open to the community. Register online at makelivesbetter.uthscsa.edu/sonturkeytrot

Pre-registration is $25. Registration on the day of the race is $30. All registered walkers and runners received a T-shirt.
Prizes will be awarded to first-, second- and third-place runners. The race starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the track on the Long Campus at the UT Health Science Center, 7703 Floyd Curl Drive.
The family-friendly event will feature giveaways, prizes, refreshments and games. Nursing students will perform glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure screenings. Canned goods will be collected for the San Antonio Food Bank.# # #The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio
