A test of the HSC Alert system will be held on Friday, Oct. 11. HSC Alert is the text and email notification system for emergencies and campus closures at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio.

Enter cell numbers and alternate email address
“HSC Alerts are automatically sent to all uthscsa.edu e-mail addresses,” said Mary DeLay, M.B.A., vice president for communications and chief of staff.

“However, to increase your chances of being notified during a campus emergency or when our campus is closed due to weather or other situations, I encourage you to enter your cell phone numbers and alternate email address into the HSC Alert system," she said. "We have seen how text messages can save lives in dangerous situations at campuses across the United States, including at UT Austin several years ago."

To sign up, please follow these instructions.
