Shopping card sales to benefit CTRC cancer care, research

SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 26, 2013) ó The Cancer Center Council is now selling its Partners Shopping Card, which offers a 20 percent discount at more than 300 stores and restaurants in San Antonio. The card costs $50. All of the net proceeds go directly to the Cancer Therapy & Research Center at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
The Partners Shopping Card is good from Oct. 18 through Oct. 27. To purchase a card, call 210-450-5571 or visit www.cancercentercouncil.com. The cards also can be purchased at participating retailers. The website includes a list of stores and restaurants.
The Cancer Center Council, with more than 600 active members, has the mission to support the CTRC through cancer education, community outreach, fundraising, patient assistance and volunteer service.
