Sam Reyes Receives
Presidential Employee Excellence
In Service Award
Sam Reyes, Building Attendant assigned to the Custodial Services Division and 16-year veteran of the Health Science Center, was recognized as one of five individuals awarded the Presidential Employee Excellence In Service Award. The award honors Health Science Center employees who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the university.

Dependable...friendly...accomodating...dedicated. These are only a few of the words that describe Sam Reyes. He is widely recognized throughout the Health Science Center as one of the most reliable individuals on campus.
Although Sam's job often requires him to make last-minute arrangements, colleagues say he is always cheerfully willing to help. From communicating pertinent information to colleagues to relocating entire departments, Sam's work always results in a spectacular finish. He provides quality service and consistently goes beyond what is expected. All of Sam's characteristics and his valuable work make employees feel at ease.
Colleagues commend Sam for being a model employee. "Sam has saved departments across the Health Science Center a lot of time and I consider him to be an outstanding member of the Health Science Center family. We need more people like him." |
