In November of 2009, Facilities Management introduced our new Service Request Form (SRF) and Report-A-Problem (RAP) forms. These forms made requesting services from FM easier, saved time and have provided our customers with a user-friendly way to request services. In continuing to make requesting services easier for our customers, we have made several enhancements:
- The new forms are able to be used by both PC and Mac users.
- Fixed Pricing options allow customers to quickly obtain pricing information for commonly requested work.
- The SUBMIT and APPROVE buttons are now directly on the form instead of on the menu bar.
- Detailed descriptions for types of work make it easier to know what choices to make when requesting services.
- Workflow emails contain more useable information for the intended receiver and will contain SRF numbers.
- Continual status updates on your requests. This allows for customers to know where their request is in the process. In addition, you will be provided with a Work Request number once the request is in the FM system.
- Additional workflow emails will be sent to the Point of Contact email address notifying them of the request and that they may be contacted by someone in FM for assistance.
