The Ophthalmology Department of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is seeking a part-time Doctor of Optometry with an accredited residency or equivalent experience in ocular disease or primary eye care for a busy academic ophthalmology practice. The MARC and TDI are busy clinics serving a high volume of diabetic and primary care eye patients. Applicants must have an O.D. degree from an ACOE- accredited school or college of optometry and have passed all parts of the NBEO, and have an unrestricted State of Texas optometry license. Spanish language proficiency is desirable, but not required. This is a part-time faculty position and academic rank will be commensurate with credentials. Salary is competitive and there is an incentive plan.
