Morning Teleconference
The Department of Ophthalmology holds a teleconference morning conference (7:00 a.m. - 7:50 a.m.) each Monday through Thursday at the Allied Health Professions Building, Rm. 1.102. Teleconferencing includes the ophthalmology residency programs at Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Medical Center. On Fridays, grand rounds begin in the exam rooms of the University Eye Consultants, 2nd floor, University Hospital at 7:30 a.m. At 8:00 a.m., the patients are discussed in room 209L of the Medical School. Lectures follow at 9:00 a.m.

Course Description
The 32nd Annual Alamo City Ophthalmology Clinical Conference will consist of featured keynote lectures and a series of oral abstract presentations based on original resident research – including clinical and basic science projects. Topics include public health issues, current therapeutic and surgical management of ocular disorders, and novel approaches to diagnostic treatment challenges. After each abstract presentation, expert panelists discuss salient points.
Who Should Attend?
This symposium is designed to meet the unique educational needs of Ophthalmologists, UTHSCSA Clinical Faculty, Residents, Optometrists, Ophthalmic Technicians and other health care professionals.
