Congratulations to Sanum Khan, M.S., recent graduate of the CSA Master of Science Program in Anatomical Sciences. Sanum received the 2016 Armand J. Guarino Award for Academic Excellence in Master of Science Studies at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Convocation on August 19.

 

Dr. Charleen Moore and Dr. Annette Occhialini were Sanum's co-mentors.

Congratulations to Chris Pena, a postdoctoral fellow and SABER.IRACDA Scholar in Robin Leach's lab, whose poster presentation won 2nd place at the annual IRACDA conference held last week at the University of Arizona, Tucson. There were over 90 posters presented by IRACDA scholars from 20 different NIGMS-funded IRACDA programs at institutions across the country including UTHSCSA (SABER Program), UPENN, Stanford, UC San Diego, UC San Francisco, Emory University, UNC Chapel Hill, UAB, Baylor COM, UT Austin, Einstein COM, etc!!
